I design and build software and AI-native prototypes for complex decisions in healthcare, finance, property, and beyond. I work across domains, with focused depth in neuroradiology and real estate tax strategy. I take a project from the first question to a working, deployed experience—shaping the interface, connecting the frontend and backend, iterating in the terminal and browser, checking what ships, and refining it with human feedback. Codex and Claude Code help me move quickly; domain judgment, usability, and design sensibility guide the result.

Vitae

A nonlinear career with a consistent through-line: learning complex systems, finding what matters, and building clearer ways to work within them.

The path to the work

Across clinical research, real estate, and tax, I kept meeting the same problem: important decisions are harder when the evidence is difficult to see. That experience shapes the software I build now.

At USC Keck Medical Center’s Department of Radiology, I worked as a clinical research associate from December 2019 through December 2021. I reviewed charts and imaging data for research on bone metastases in lung cancer, then curated medical images and contributed writing on subcortical brain structures for a Thieme radiology text. It taught me to take both the evidence and the person reading it seriously.

Since 2019, my work as a property manager and Realtor has put decisions into a different kind of real-world setting. With Rentsparks, Pinnacle Estate Properties, Ashby & Graff, and Sotheby’s, I have handled leasing, marketing, tenant screening, vendor coordination, and service requests while keeping vacancy low and tenancies long. Renovations have meant coordinating plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, paint, and fixtures.

At Christine Chang CPA and Spark + Stone, I help lead a 40-year family tax practice. Since 2020, and in a broader operating role since 2023, I have prepared or reviewed roughly 225 individual and business returns, supported planning and compliance, modernized document and backup workflows, and trained staff. Real estate returns and complex client situations have made clarity especially consequential.

Since 2025, I have also worked as an AI-native product design engineer through an independent portfolio of websites, apps, and applied-AI tools. I carry a project from its first question through interface, frontend and backend integration, deployment, and audit. The work spans clinical AI, tax and financial tools, real estate, and creative technology, always with an eye toward making a complex decision easier to understand and use.

Vision

Complex systems are easier to navigate when the right information is visible. I build tools that help people understand what is happening, make a decision, and act with more confidence.
I move between fields because the same design challenge keeps appearing: translate specialized knowledge into a tool someone can understand and use. Each release is a checkpoint for testing, auditing, and learning what to build next.

Values

Three principles that meet in the middle of the work. Hover over a disc to read more; on touch screens, the details are already visible.

Value 01
Integrity
Clarity > optics
Be candid about evidence, tradeoffs, and limits.
Value 02
Depth
Understanding > shortcuts
Learn the domain before designing the answer.
Value 03
Empowerment
Agency > dependence
Use innovation to strengthen collective autonomy and practical self-reliance.

Vibe

I look for patterns. The subject may be medicine, tax, real estate, or design. The work is to find what matters and make the next step clearer.

I work across fields because useful ideas often appear between them. Curiosity starts the work; depth makes it useful.

The goal is simple: give people better tools, clearer information, and more room to act.

Also: occasional goofball. Serious about the work, not about seeming serious.
